The meeting focused on Albania’s European path towards the EU and the further deepening of bilateral cooperation in the fields of security and economy.
Minister Hasani praised Austria’s commitment to the Western Balkans’ development, security, and stability.

On the second day of his official visit to Vienna, Minister Hasani held meetings with the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi; the Chairwoman of the Albania-Austria Friendship Parliamentary Group, Ewa Ernst-Dziedzic; and the Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee, Christoph Matznetter.

The Albanian Chief Diplomat reaffirmed Albania’s commitment to cooperation with the IAEA, particularly within the 2024-2030 Country Program framework.

Minister Hasani appreciated the commitment of the Austrian Parliament to strengthening democratic processes in the region, as he underlined the support of the Albanian side for the expansion of political dialogue through parliamentary diplomacy.
